Anzac Day marks the anniversary of the first campaign that led to major casualties for Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War .
When war broke out in 1914, Australia and New Zealand had been dominions of the British Empire for thirteen and seven years respectively.
Anzac Day is a national day of remembrance in Australia

An car bombing was killed at least 100 people in Syria.
The blast ripped through the bus on Sunday 16/4/2016 .
No one claimed responsibility for the attack State TV al-Ekhbariya said the attack was the result of a car bomb carrying food aid to be delivered to the evacuees in the rebel-held area.

A 29-year-old man is in hospital after being shot in Punchbow  .

Police attended an address after reports a man had been shot but were unable to locate the victim at the scene.

A short time later, police learned a man who is known to police had presented himself to Bankstown Hospital with gunshot wounds to his legs and buttocks.

A gunman is on the run after shooting a 15-year-old boy as he lay in bed at his southwest Sydney home, with the teen later dying in hospital.
The man kicked in the door of the family's Glenfield home at 6am on Friday, then shot the boy in the head, in what is suspected to be a revenge attack.
The 15-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, died at The Children's Hospital in Westmead five hours later.

Christians in the world celebrate Easter and the resurrection of Jesus from the dead on the third day and people go to the church to pray. The Easter is always on a Sunday and it is a public holiday in many countries.
Jesus has risen from the dead.
The most important celebration of the whole year begins in the dark where a great candle is lit to indicate the resurrection of Christ.
